- Download the GCCE Mobile APP.
- If you know the login credentials / you may directly sign in.
- If you forgot the credentials / use the forgot password option and reset the PW.
- If your login mode is UAE PASS, you may log in using your UAE PASS too.
How can I update my mobile number to a new one?
If you have access to the existing mobile number
- Click on update mobile number.
- Enter the existing mobile number & enter the OTP received on the existing
number.
- Enter a new mobile number & enter the OTP received on the new number.
- Click on submit - the new number is updated in your profile.
- You can do the transaction once the AML department activates your profile after
necessary verification.
If you have don't have access to the existing mobile number
- Visit your nearest branch with EID.
- Submit the mobile number update form available at the branch.
- Branch team will update your number with OTP .
How do I set a rate alert?
Rate alert is a facility by virtue of which
customers will be alerted through Email/SMS once the exchange rate touches the defined
value. Click ‘Set Alert’ on the home page in the rate calculator to set the preferred
exchange rate. Enter your Name, Email ID, Mobile number, and preferred rate. Check the
alert type as Email/SMS and click on ‘Set Alert’. An Email/SMS will be triggered once
the exchange rate touches the preferred rate set by the customer.
What is a Promo Code? How do I use it?
GCCE Exchange provides various discounts and
promotional offers. The code may be used to avail the discount. Remember to enter the
code in the ‘Promo Code’ field to avail the benefit.
My promo code is not working, what do I do?
Promo codes usually have an expiry period, the
duration of which is decided by GCC Exchange. Also, these codes can’t be reused. In most
cases, the promo code has either expired or is no longer valid. For further assistance
contact the customer service team.

How to Register and Complete eKYC with UAE Pass? (Most Recommended)
- Download GCC Exchange Mobile App from Play Store / App Store.
- Open the app and tap on the ‘Sign-up’ button on the right top.
- Then tap on ‘Sign up with UAE PASS’.
- Screen will take you to UAE PASS APP, confirm the login request from GCC
Exchange Mobile App. (UAE PASS must be verified, and Emirates ID and residence
VISA must be available).
- Provide a valid UAE PASS PIN or Face ID or Fingerprint.
- You will be redirected to the GCC Exchange Mobile APP Document sharing page, and
read the guidelines displayed on the page.
- Tap on ‘Continue with UAE PASS’.
- You will be redirected to UAE PASS APP for sharing the requested documents.
- Click Enable to share information and tap on allow document sharing and provide

What does activation of account mean?
To ensure the security of your account, we
need to know who you are, and we activate your account only once your KYC (Know Your
Customer) and AML (Anti Money Laundering) requirement checks are met.
- Activation Process for New customer:We recommend you to Sign Up and
register with GCCE using UAE PASS. By this method, you will be able to share the
required documents (Emirates ID and Residence VISA) with us via UAE PASS, and a
branch visit is not required. OR After registering on the website/app, please
walk into any GCC Exchange branch with a valid Emirates ID. It will take just 2
minutes for our branch staff to verify your ID. Your account will then be
instantly activated for online transactions.
- Activation Process for Existing GCC Exchange branch customer:After
registering on the website/app, if you get a message to complete your KYC, you
are required to walk into any GCC Exchange branch with your Emirates ID for your
KYC verification. Customers whose KYC is already completed & is active, do not
need to do this step and can directly use the online service. After providing
the required details your account will be activated for online transactions.
Can I have more than 1 Online Account?
Your Email, mobile number, and Emirates ID are
unique to our account. You can only create 1 account using these.
Why my Profile has been Deactivated?
Your Profile is deactivated because you were
inactive for the past 180 days. To keep it active you must create one successful
transaction once your profile is activated. Also, when we observe that He/ She has
created lot of TT Cancellation Request (Dummy/Void Entries) and are not adhering to our
online remittance policies/guidelines, we tend to Deactivate the profiles.
Can I Activate my Profile Once Again?

Who is a Beneficiary? How can I add one?
A Beneficiary is the Recipient of the amount
sent by you. A recipient can be your spouse, relative, friend, etc. You can also be a
self-recipient when you send money to your own account.
How to Add New Beneficiary (Website/ Mobile App)
Bank Transfer:
- Open GCC Exchange Mobile App or log in to Website.
- Tap on the Beneficiaries Tab on the bottom menu, then tap on Add New
Beneficiary.
- Choose the delivery mode BANK from the popup.
- Select the receiving country.
- Choose the Recipient options from the popup.
- Enter the Beneficiary and Bank details.
- You can search the Bank details by providing the IFSC code or Search Tab.
- Add beneficiary contact details and tap on next.
- Check and Confirm the Provided details.
- Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number or email ID.
- Done! Beneficiary created successfully.
CASH Pickup:
- Open GCC Exchange Mobile App or log in to Website Portal.
- Tap on the Beneficiaries Tab on the bottom menu, then tap on Add New
Beneficiary.
- Choose the delivery mode CASH from the popup.
- Select the receiving country.
- Choose the Recipient options from the popup.
- Enter the Beneficiary name, city, and payout branch and tap on next.

How Can I view or disable a Beneficiary?
To view or disable a Beneficiary.
- Login to your account.
- Click on ‘My Beneficiary’.
- Click on View or Disable.
I do not have all details of the recipient’s bank details.
Some details are mandatory to process the
transactions. Missing details can lead to transaction rejection. Please fill in all the
details carefully to avoid any inconvenience.
What are the payment options available?
GCC Exchange provides various payment options.

My bank is not available in the net banking bank list. Why is that?
If you don’t find your local payment bank,
then either your bank does not participate in UAE Central Bank’s Payment Gateway system,
or you haven’t saved your local payment bank details with us. To save your payment bank
details, click on Add a bank account from the menu option.
My account was debited but my transaction status is incomplete. What
do I do?
In most cases, the transaction would be
unsuccessful. Your bank will refund the amount back to your account. In case of any
delays in the refund, please check with your bank’s customer service or cash management
team.
Note: Please check with your bank or GCC Exchange customer service before
you initiate an immediate second transaction.
How soon should I transfer the funds to GCC Exchange to complete the
transfer? (For payment option ‘Wire Transfer’)
The transfer should be done within 4 hours
after completing the transaction on the GCC Exchange website/ Mobile App. Unpaid
transactions will be canceled automatically after 4 hours.
Where can I locate the transaction reference number?
The reference number is mentioned in the
transaction receipt sent via SMS and your registered email address. The ‘reference
number’ (Ref No) is the tracking number that can be used at the GCCE end for tracking.
Transaction Number or TT Number can be used to track the transaction at the receiving
end. For Cash Pick Ups TT Number will be used for payment collection at the cash pick-up
location.
Can I track the status of my transaction?
Yes. Use the transaction tracker tool
available in the left-hand side menu to check the status of the transaction. Details can
be retrieved using transaction reference/GTN number.
How long does it take to receive the money?
At GCC Exchange your transfers are our
commitment. We disperse the money as soon as possible with every intention of early
credit. Most transfers are credited within not more than 2 or 3 business days. It
depends mostly on the country selected, delivery option and mode of payment selected.
Important: A few things that may affect the process such as-
- Delay in receiving payment from your end.
- Recipient bank holidays/national holidays/difference in time zone/delivery
hours.
- Additional information request to meet requirements of regulatory body or your
financial institution or your recipient bank for your security.
- Payment network’s processing hours.
- Erroneous recipient details.
Will I get confirmation from GCC Exchange when my transfer is
successful?
You will receive an SMS confirmation when the
amount is successfully credited to the Recipient.
Can I cancel a transaction?
Cancellation / Deletion of a transaction is
not permitted. However, in the following situations, cancellation and refund will be
permitted at prevalent rates with applicable cancellation charges.
To cancel a
transaction, send an email to customer service from your registered email address. The
transaction can be canceled only if the amount has not been credited to the
Recipient.
The cancellation policy will operate owing to requests made and the sole
discretion of transaction cancellation rests with GCC Exchange. Cancellation charges and
rate adjustments would also apply for any cancellations.
My bank account got debited but the transaction is not processed.
What do I do?
Once your account is debited it takes few
hours to get processed. Once processed, the transaction will be sent out to the
receiving bank. If the transaction is still not processed, then contact our customer
support team.

How much money can I send online?
We have set some limits on the amount of money
you can send from your account to ensure the safety of your account. Please note the
same below -
- Per day transaction limit - AED 500,000 (Per transaction 199,999 AED).
- Maximum number of transactions allowed per day – 12 transactions.
- Annual Limit – is based on the source of income (Salary / Business).
- During the initial 12 Hours from registration / new beneficiary / modified
beneficiary, only up to 3,500 AED can be transferred.
Important Note: For high-value transactions, proof of income/source of funds
will be mandatory as part of the local regulations. (If exceeds the cumulative value of
AED55,000.00 in a span of 45 Days)
What is the maximum amount I can send online?
You can send up to 500,000 AED per day (Per
transaction 199,999 AED). If the transaction amount goes above 55,000 AED, then those
customers will have to provide us with the Source of funds,
The source of Funds can
be in the form of Bank statements or Loan documents. For any clarification, you may get

What are the charges for sending money online?

What is the exchange rate?

Where can I send money?
GCC Exchange online offers money transfers to
more than 190 countries. You can choose a destination country while adding the Recipient
on the send money page. The available receiving options (e.g., bank deposit/cash
pickup/mobile wallet, etc.) vary depending on the country you are sending to.
What is GCC Remit?
GCC Remit is an Instant Money Transfer
Operator in the world. It enables cash pickup money transfer service for GCC Exchange.
The Recipient can collect cash from any of the 100,000 locations by presenting his ID
and transaction reference number.
What is anywhere payout?
Anywhere payout is a unique feature where the
sender does not need to specify the collection location. Instead, the recipient can
collect cash from any of the GCC Remit agents by presenting the GTN number and ID. This
facility is available in most countries powered by GCC Remit.
What is UAE PASS?
UAE PASS is the first secure national digital
identity for citizens and residents of the UAE. The app enables all registered
individuals to access more than 6000 government, semi-government and private sector
entities’ services through their respective websites and apps and allows them to
digitally sign and authenticate documents and transactions. UAE PASS also enables users
to request a digital version of official documents issued to their name and to use the
same to request services.
What do I need to do to register for UAE PASS?
Download the UAE PASS application from Play
Store / App Store and register for a basic account with/without an Emirates ID card (you
can choose an option). As a next step, verify your account (only for Emirates ID card
holders) using Face verification on the mobile app or by visiting the nearest UAE PASS
kiosk with your Emirates ID.
How can I verify my basic account on UAE PASS?
Verify your UAE PASS basic account by either
using the face verification feature on the app, or by visiting the nearest UAE PASS
kiosk (recommended to avail all privileges), or by using your existing (verified) Smart
Pass or Dubai ID account to upgrade your account.
Now that I have registered, how can I change my email address?
You can change your email address once you
login to your account via the website, or through the UAE PASS application, or at a
kiosk. Click on the "account" tab, and then choose to edit your email address. Once you
change your email address, you will receive an OTP to verify changing your email to the
new email ID.
How can I change my mobile number?
You can change your mobile number on the UAE
PASS application & website by navigating to account > personal details > edit your
mobile number. Once you enter your new mobile number, you will receive an SMS with the
OTP to verify your new number.
If I forgot my UAE PASS PIN code, what should I do?
Please reinstall UAE PASS and choose 'I have
an account' option, verify your Mobile and Email through OTP, and create a new PIN
number.
How can I verify my UAE PASS account at a UAE PASS kiosk?
Verify your UAE PASS basic account by visiting
the nearest UAE PASS kiosk with your Emirates ID and following the steps on the kiosk
screen. You can also use Face verification on the mobile app instead of visiting a kiosk
to verify your account.
I forgot my Digital Signature password, what should I do?
You can reset your Digital Signature password
through the UAE PASS app > select account > then reset the password, or by visiting the
nearest kiosk (more info) and selecting 'Digital Signing' and 'Renew' under 'Qualified
Signing'. This will allow you to set a new password and a new Qualified Signature.
